Now, how do you make your content search engine friendly? By writing content that is relevant to the headings and titles of the page. You may have heard before that “content is king.” In the world of Search Engine Optimization, that is absolutely true. Google will like your content if it presents information well. They don’t care what color the text is or how many images you have on the page, they look at the content.
In SEO terms, the title is the name of your page. It can be seen in the top most part of your browser window, to the left of the words “Internet Explorer” or “Mozilla Firefox.”
Headings are on the page itself and are used to break up the text on the page into meaningful sections. They’re usually in bold or slightly larger than the body text.
The content is, of course, the main text portion of your page. This is the most important part of your page.
So, let’s put all this together. When the search engine looks at your page, the combination of the title, headings and content is used to get an idea of what the page is about. The better the search engine can see and understand this information, the more likely it will show your content to someone searching for it. So when coming up with the content for a page, you should carefully consider what the page will be about. Come up with a good title, use appropriate headings and write the content of the page such that it uses the words that are included in your title and headings. If all this is done well, the search engines will consider your page to be useful content when someone is searching for those words.
So the trick is making all three sections, Title, Header, & Content, as consistent as possible AND make it so it doesn’t sound or feel redundant and forced.
